Eighth Grade Math Games - Instructions
Chinese Kakuro Puzzle Game
The first of the eighth grade math games on this page is a puzzle game. This game will train your mind and make it stronger. 8th grade math requires a lot of brain power. You have to fill all the squares with numbers from 1 to 9 following specific rules. The numbers in each group cannot repeat. This goes for horizontal number groups as well as vertical. The other major rules is that the numbers in each group connect blocks that have the sum at the top left. You want to have the math problem total match your group answer. There is also a cool hint feature to try if you get stuck.
Math Solitaire
Math Solitaire will really make you concentrate. It is a thinking game based off of the classic Solitaire game. Gameplay starts when you receive five cards. The object of the game is to get the value of the fifth card by using arithmetic with the first four cards. The operations would be addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Each of the first four math solitaire cards must be used one time only. This should improve your elementary math problem answering skills.
Train Your Math
The Train Your Math game is very straightforward. You are given an eighth grade math question which needs to be answered. Put the correct answer in the box and see how you did. A new math problem will appear along with the result from the previous questions. This is a very difficult but rewarding game where learning is the goal.
